NEURON2021_NDCil - Unlocking the secrets of neurodevelopmental ciliopathies

NDCil is an interdisciplinary research consortium of five partners across five countries (Italy, Ireland, Germany, France, and Hungary) that aims to better understand how variants in cilia genes cause neurodevelopmental ciliopathies such as Joubert Syndrome. This project aims to uncover new knowledge about how Joubert Syndrome variants affect development of cilia and the brain. Ultimately, we hope that this work will lead to better diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options for people with neurodevelopmental ciliopathies.
