Afghanistan: Geopolitics and Security

The aim of the discussion is to provide a thorough analysis of Afghanistan under the Taliban after 2021, this project brings together eminent experts and specialists in the fields of political science, international relations (IR), security studies, terrorism and counterterrorism studies, human rights, and non-traditional security studies (such as food and water security, migration, and energy). Additionally, regional experts on Afghanistan, Central Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East are also included. Through the lenses of geopolitics and foreign policy analysis, this multidisciplinary collection looks at three aspects of international relations in Afghanistan under the Taliban: local, regional, and international.
