The video is based on a recent systematic review exploring how placebo and nocebo effects—driven by belief and expectation—can meaningfully influence sports and exercise performance. The presenter will summarize findings from 20 studies published between 2019 and 2024, offering updated insights on how psychological factors can improve or diminish physical outcomes in athletic and fitness settings. This scientific contribution, published in Nutrients (MDPI; Q1, Impact Factor: 5.0), was adapted into a video format to make the topic more accessible and understandable to a broader audience.
