"BioBanzaj" How Tireless Are You? – Measuring Muscle Strength

Using the BioPac device—which is also used to teach biology students—we simultaneously record the electrical activity (EMG) generated by contracting muscle fibers and the force exerted by the muscle in willing test subjects, thereby demonstrating the possibilities of neural regulation of muscle strength. We also shed light on the subjects’ fitness levels.

Find us on the 6th floor of Building 1/C (South Building) on the Lágymányos Campus, in Room 6-107 (György Ádám Physiology Lab)!

Come to the 6th floor, in the hallway between the elevators! Measurements will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis; each measurement takes about 15 minutes. Please wait your turn if there are others ahead of you—thank you for your patience!
