Sunscreen Soap and UV Radiation

We tested how sunscreen soap blocks UV radiation using glass sheets coated with different SPF sunscreens and UV-sensitive paper. The results showed that higher SPF sunscreens, which have more octyl salicylate, blocked more UV rays. Direct sunlight caused full UV exposure, while SPF 70 completely blocked UV radiation. This shows that sunscreens with higher SPF provide better protection from harmful UV rays.
