Psychiatry, EEG, brain research

Are you interested about the EEG research taking place at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at Semmelweis University? Would you like to learn more about autism?

We warmly invite you to the EEG laboratory in the basement of the Psychiatry Clinic, where we work with state-of-the-art methodology and equipment under the auspices of the Hungarian National Brain Research Program and Semmelweis University. We will explain what EEG is, how it can be used in medicine and psychiatry, and what our research is all about. Afterwards, with the help of enthusiastic volunteers, you can experience what it is like to undergo such an examination and how we evaluate the results. Finally, we will talk about Autism Spectrum Disorder, how we use EEG in the latest autism research, and what new insights this research could bring to the future of psychiatry.
